I create stories - through photography, videography and occasionally written work - that are deliberate, visually pleasing and make you feel something.

When I'm not creating content for my brand partnerships, I share a glimpse into a life lived in an art-filled eclectic home while clothed by an unafraid exploration of fashion. I also weave in the beautiful places I travel to, culinary adventures I experience and an active lifestyle that proves athleticism comes in different bodies.

What’s the name about?

My last name - Handahu - means Lion Hunter. It’s become one of my life's guiding forces. I'm reminded to hunt for the majestic and good in myself, people I meet and the world around me.

For 10+ years, I have been a full time content creator producing lifestyle content for some of your favourite global brands. I've written about fashion and style for publications like Fashion Magazine, Huffington Post, CBC Lifestyle and Essence Magazine and have been a Style Expert on numerous TV segments for CTV discussing style trends and award season red carpet looks. I'm also a TEDx Alumnus with a talk titled Fat and Black With The Audacity To Be A Badass. 

Over time, my online community has grown tremendously and many of you have asked if you could hire me to help you level-up your content, your home and your closets. Below are the current services I'm offering. Don't worry, I'll still be creating content over on my Instagram + YouTube but this is my way of pouring into you and your mighty brand.

If you've been doing the social media thing for a while but feel like you haven't cracked the code and need some direction. I'll do an audit of your accounts and the content you've created so far.  I will then suggest some tweaks and teach you effective photo/video techniques and how to better communicate your brand and connect with your audience.

CONTENT CREATION

Specific campaigns are easier to navigate because you have a theme, holiday or special launch to guide you. It's the day to day engaging that can be tougher to execute. Though I'm willing to travel, this is perfect for personal brands and businesses in Nova Scotia, Canada. I can swing by, create content for your personal brand or business and send you batches of content to use over time.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO

Special occasions deserve to be memorialized with some well-conceptualized and beautiful imagery. You can come with your own vision and I'll help you bring it to life. Alternatively, I can creative direct the whole thing and leave you with some high quality digital photographs and video to share with your loved ones.
